OVERCOMING THE FORCES OF DELAY

Bible Reading: John 5:1-9

According to the Oxford Dictionary, Delay means to put off to later time, to be late.

Delay also means to experience backward. Like turning the journey of ten days to ten years or more.

Delay means evil barrier, embargo, to block person; to hinder or stop person in order to not to move forward or doing the right thing at the right time.

The Bible says:

“There is time for everything and a season for every activity under heaven” Eccl. 3:1.

The man in our Bible reading for today was delay for 38years, seeking for healing and breakthrough for his life, but one faithful day, his delay was aborted and he gained his freedom.

Thousands of people are experience delays in one way or the other either in their business, spiritual life, academic, marriage affairs, appointment or admission, etc. Delay has become something people believe that it must happen to them, but Biblical speaking, God do not want His children to experience delay.

You as person that reading this book, I believe you are experience such delay in your life. What you could have achieved when you are 20years old, you are still struggling to achieve it at the age or 40 t0 50 years now. No matter how you have been delay in any area of your life, today end has come to it in the Mighty name of Jesus Christ. As the man in our Bible reading experience new life, you are going to experience such changes today in Jesus name, amen.

Several women had been married for some years without child. While many boys and girls are looking for wife or husband, they have been due for it, today all the root of delay in your life will be uprooted in the name of Jesus Christ.

CAUSES OF DELAY

Nothing happens without cause. There are several reasons why millions of people are experience and battling with delay in or way or the other, among them is:

1.          SIN – Sin is number one cause that makes many people experience delay in every aspect of success. This is a personal cause of everyone. Sins or evil deeds have nothing good to offer you than delaying. Instead for you to achieve or become what God has destiny you to be in life, sin will put off to another time. That is why you will see many people getting married at the age of 40 upward; doing good things like building house at the old age of 60years to 70years. Such people cannot enjoy much of what God has for them.

Many sisters have aborted for several times because of their sexuality, and it causes them to have delay in child bearing at their marital home.

2.          SATANIC MANIPULATIONS – Another cause of Delay is satanic manipulations and influences. He delays Daniel from receiving the answer to his prayers. Daniel had been in fasting and prayers, the Bible says, GOD have answer his prayer at the beginning, but Daniel keep on praying until 21^st day when an angel was sent to confront the Satan for this delay.

“Then he said, Daniel, don’t be afraid. God has heard your prayers ever since the first day you decided to humble yourself in order to gain understanding. I have come in answer to your prayer. The angel of the kingdom of Persia opposed me for 21days. The Michael, one of the chief angels, came to help me, because I had been left alone in Persia…” Daniel 10:12-14 GNB.

One thing I want you to know is that, Satan and his agents has nothing good to offer you than to delay you to achieving your dreams. You have been delay for what you have been praying for because Satan, the king of Persia oppose the person that sent to you.

There another woman in the Bible, she was delay to gain her freedom for 18years. It was the same Satan that causes her to be in such terrible condition for 18years without helper.

Jesus said: “Then should not this woman a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has kept, bound for 18 long years be set free on the Sabbath day from what bound her?” Luke 13:16-17.

One thing that surprise me is that, when Jesus saw the woman, and HE wanted to heal her, they opposed Jesus from be doing it. But Jesus Christ confronted them and all ashamed. That is what is going to happen today. All your opposition will be put to shame for their evil works over your life.

3.          HOUSEHOLD WICKEDNESS – Number three cause of delay is household wickedness. They are the people or power that knows your origin and background; they know when and where you born; they know your office and where you lives; even they know the best food you like and the parents that gave birth to you.

Jesus said: “A man’s enemies will be the members of his own household” Matthew 10:36.

4.          ASSOCIATION – Association is another cause of delay in life. There is no man without association, but the person you associate with will determine how far you will go in life. There are two kinds of association in life (Good and Bad association). Bad association always leads to delay and destruction. The Bible says, “Bad association ruins good character” I Corinthians 15:33. Anyone that associates with the person with curse would have delay in life, unless the curse was break.

5.         WITCHCRAFTS – Witchcrafts is a demonic that had been delay thousands of people from been achieve their dream in life.

HOW TO OVERCOME THE FORCES OF DELAY

There is no problem without solution. Despite the bad effects of delay, yet there is solution to it. Jesus Christ had proved to us in many places in the Scriptures that delay can end in as much as we take the right steps. Some of the steps are:

1.         SETTLE WITH JESUS CHRIST – The only one that has power to confront and stop the forces of delay in our life is Jesus Christ. He can do it because all power in heaven and on earth was given to Him (Matthew 28:18). Your settlement with Jesus Christ is the right step that will put an end to delay in any aspect of your life. He has sent the invitation to everyone, and any person that accepts the invitation will surely smile over any delay (Matthew 11:28-29).

2.         EMPOWER FROM ABOVE – Divine power is the only power that capable of confront any forces of delay. Not only confronting, but also conquer it without remedy. The forces of delay need a mighty force that can press it down and such power is power from above called the power of God.

3.         BREAKING EVERY CURSES OF CONVENANT ATTACHED TO YOU – Curses is one of the forces that make people delaying of achieve the purpose in life. These curses have to break and destroy. There are different kinds of curses, but all can be break through the authority of the Blood of Jesus Christ. Anyone that has curse of covenant should cut him or herself off from the covenant. This means you are to confess and renounce the friendship with any covenant you have.

4.         AGGRESSIVE PRAYERS – Power of aggressive prayer is a weapon that will uproot all the source of delay. That is anyone that took part in today’s prayer should be seriously commitment to it. All the prayer points should aggressively pray at the appropriate time.

THE AGGRESSIVE PRAYERS FOR TODAY

1.          In the name of Jesus Christ, all the forces of delay over my life, is consume with Holy Ghost fire.

2.          In the name of Jesus Christ, all the forces ow wickedness of my father’s house that cause delay of my marriage, consume with Holy Ghost fire.

3.          In the name of Jesus Christ, all the agenda delay of the household wickedness over my life is scattered with Holy Ghost fire.

4.          In the name of Jesus Christ, enough is enough, all the power that backup delay in my life, you are a liar, consume with Holy Ghost fire.

5.          In the name of Jesus Christ, O Lord my God, have mercy on me and wash away all sins that cause delay in my life.

6.          In the name of Jesus Christ, the Blood of Jesus Christ (3times) wash every symbol of sins that cause delay in my marriage, business, admission, promotion, appointment, employment, child bearing, etc. In the name of Jesus Christ.

7.          In the name of Jesus Christ, Holy Ghost fire dissociates me from every friendship that cause delay for me.

8.          In the name of Jesus Christ, Holy Ghost Fire, get me out from the camp of delay relationship.

9.          In the name of Jesus Christ, enough is enough all the covenant of delay break in my life, in the name of Jesus Christ.

10.      In the name of Jesus Christ, every seed of delay in me uproot with Holy Ghost Fire in Jesus name.

11.      In the name of Jesus Christ, all the satanic agents that stop my helper from be locate me, you are a liar, consume and scatter with Holy Ghost Fire.

12.      In the name of Jesus Christ, every kingdom of darkness that stops me from receiving my cars, house, etc consume with Holy Ghost fire.

13.      In the name of Jesus Christ, all strange hands that draw me backward, cut off with Heavenly axe.

14.      In the name of Jesus Christ, as from today I will move forward no more delay, I will achieve my dreams, no more delay, in the name of Jesus Christ.

15.      In the name of Jesus Christ, every chain from kingdom of darkness that ties me down is cut off with Holy Ghost fire in the name of Jesus Christ.

16.      In the name of Jesus Christ, you witchcraft that cause delay in my marriage, you are a liar, consume with Holy Ghost Fire in Jesus name.
